The EnglishUSA Board of Directors is a mission-driven, strategic-focused body. Strategic priorities for the upcoming three years include expanding membership categories for 2020-21, implementing new committee structure for the Board, and preparing a new strategic plan for 2021-2026, as well as continuing to develop impactful and relevant programs/services to serve the needs of members, exploring board governance and volunteer structures, and continuing to increase awareness of the EnglishUSA brand globally.
Positions & Terms
According to the Bylaws revised and approved in June 2019, the Board of Directors will be restructured beginning in 2020-2021. Therefore, the Nominating Committee is charged with selecting the slate of President-Elect and three Directors-at-Large for 2020-2021.
Board members serve three-year terms (see below) beginning approximately June 1 (after the NAFSA conference). The positions for nomination for 2020-21 include:
o At-Large Director (1)
o At-Large Director (2)
o At-Large Director (3)
