EnglishUSA Webinar: 3-Point Observations
Teachers need professional development that is individualized and promotes reflective, autonomous practice. This presentation explains the benefits of using techniques in Cognitive Coaching to meet with teachers through "3-Point Observations." These 3-Point Observations utilize Cognitive Coaching mind maps and paralanguage to guide teachers toward more meaningful professional development.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
· uncover key research, which will illustrate the benefits of Cognitive Coaching for teachers’ professional development
· learn a variety of mind maps and worksheets that coaches, administrators, or other teachers can use in coaching sessions with teachers
· see how these mind maps and worksheets can be put into practice in their own teaching contexts
