Title: It wasn’t my Decision!: Working through the Complexity of Change

Description: When changes occur in language schools/programs, it can often feel that there are top down decisions being made that may not always be presented effectively. We discuss experiences and best practices for change management and how to create psychological safety for employees during a time of tumultuous change.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

1. Better understand how to work through change management circumstances we can’t control: personal reactions and emotions and those of our colleagues and employees.

2. Help lead change processes by having a clear and well communicated vision

3. Help ensure team members understand where they fit into the vision and the impact that changes will have on them.

4. Take away ideas on how to ensure all staff at all levels have a voice in changes and decisions being made.
