Bio
Ashley Micklos is the Director at the Wisconsin ESL Institute (WESLI), a small, private institution in Madison, Wisconsin. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and has been teaching for over 15 years, both in the US and abroad. While at WESLI, Ashley transitioned into administrative roles, where she supervises staff and faculty, develops business opportunities and programming, and oversees compliance and accreditation. She is passionate about promoting professional development, engagement, and ownership among staff and faculty. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her toddler daughter, karaoke, hiking, and yoga.
