Kim Andersen is a language education leader with more than 30 years of experience in ESL/TESOL and Spanish instruction, program design, and administration. She is the Founder and Director of Capital Region Language Center (CRLC), founded in 2003, which provides world language training, professional and workforce development programs, curriculum design, and English instruction. Kim holds a graduate degree in Education with a focus on TESOL and has taught ESL to children and adults in the U.S. and abroad, as well as Spanish at all levels and age groups in the U.S. From 2012 to 2025, she also led Empire State English, a New York State-licensed, CEA-accredited, and SEVP-certified adult ESL program. In addition to her leadership at CRLC, Kim teaches English and Spanish, serves as a CEA site reviewer, and sits on the Board of Directors of EnglishUSA.
