Evelyn Pierro is a Senior Instructor in the Programs for Learning Academic and Community English (PLACE) at Colorado State University. Throughout her tenure, she has served in a variety of roles, including having leadership and supervisory responsibilities for the Academic English Program. She currently focuses on teaching and curriculum development, with particular interests in student motivation, classroom climate, and innovative instructional design. Her recent work includes the development of a synchronous online test preparation course for visually impaired learners. In the spring, she had the opportunity to participate in the Brazil 2026 Roadshow, gaining experience in international student recruitment.
