Join PAIS colleagues for an informal, discussion-based session on how English language programs, IEPs, short-term programs, credit and non-credit EAP programs, and related units are rethinking their identity to better reflect their value and respond to today’s needs.

The session will begin with a brief introduction to the topic, followed by small-group breakout discussions and a whole-group conversation. Participants will have ample time to share ideas, ask questions, and learn from colleagues facing similar challenges.

This conversation will explore how programs are strengthening their relevance on campus, building community connections, and communicating more effectively with students, partners, and stakeholders. Topics may include updating mission and messaging, revising websites and recruitment materials, communicating changes internally and externally, and considering program or structural changes that support a new identity. Because rebranding is more than a name change, we will also discuss how partnerships, student experience, and institutional alignment can help create meaningful and lasting impact.
