Heidi Vellenga is the Executive Director of the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA). She has over 20 years of experience teaching and directing English language programs overseas and in the US. She has served as Vice President for Standards for EnglishUSA, on the TESOL Journal Editorial Board, and is on the board of ASPA (Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors). She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics, an MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL and frequently delivers presentations and training workshops on CEA matters, accreditation, instructional effectiveness, and quality assurance topics.
