With 25 years of experience in leadership roles in international higher education in the UK, Soon brings significant expertise in institutional partnerships, agency relationships, and international student recruitment. She joined Trinity College London at the end of 2025 as a Business Development professional, developing Trinity’s footprint across multiple regions, with a particular focus on North America. 

In her previous role recruiting suitably qualified international students, she worked closely with academic colleagues to establish appropriate academic and English-language entry criteria, helping to ensure that students could thrive in an international academic environment. Her experience of working with students from diverse backgrounds has reinforced her belief that language proficiency is most powerful when combined with critical thinking and the confidence to apply language effectively in everyday situations. She is therefore particularly excited by Trinity’s suite of English language assessments, which places real-life communication at the heart of language learning. 

An educator and coach at heart, Soon is passionate about helping individuals fulfil their potential and develop lifelong skills beyond formal qualifications.
